Parents are our equal partners in progress. It is our endeavour to maintain a frequent and open dialogue with the families of the students. The active involvement and support from our concerned and motivated parent and grandparent body has constantly validated and enriched the program.
They are involved at each and every step of their child’s development at Tamana.
While setting the IEPs the family needs are given priority and the program is developed by the Tamana team a keeping the family’s needs and aspirations and the individuals potential in mind.
After every three month’s progress is assessed and on basis of performance short-term goals are delineated for the next quarter. In this process teachers and parents are equal partners- both meet and discuss the observations at school and home.
Parents are also given opportunities to spend a day with their ward at Tamana and observe their classes and to give their opinions and feedback.
