Behind each success story lies years of dedication, learning, and courage. Our students, now confident professionals in diverse fields, remind us every day that with the right guidance and belief in the individual’s potential, possibilities are limitless.

Shuchita A M

Shuchita is a multidisciplinary creative professional whose work bridges visual arts, fashion, film, and education. She has worked in fashion films and professional modeling projects. She has also contributed to the film industry as a 2nd Assistant Director and Art Director, gaining hands-on experience in visual narrative and production design. As an educator, Shuchita has worked with Lalith Castle International School and Orchids International School, Bangalore, guiding students to explore creativity through visual arts. Academically, Shuchita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the College of Fine Arts, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore, along with a certificate in Early Childhood Education. A deeply transformative chapter of her life was the four years she spent at Tamana School (2015–2018). During these years, Shuchita developed leadership skills, learned to overcome fears, and gained the confidence to work independently. She actively engaged in skill-based activities such as baking, cooking, pickle making, and vocational learning. She was honoured to serve as the Head Girl of Tamana School, a responsibility that strengthened her discipline, focus, accountability, and sense of responsibility.

Harsh Dubey

Harsh has been working as an Office Assistant at Vista Console, Sector 42, Noida since 2016. His responsibilities include clerical work and managing dispatch of consoles. He also ensures that common areas are tidy and organised. Hersh joined Tamana in 2011 and graduated from the Skill Development Centre in 2022 at the age of 25. He completed Class 10 through NIOS and achieved proficiency in spoken and written English, as well as in computer skills during his training at Tamana.

Sharad Dang

Sharad works as an Office Assistant at Tamana Nai Disha Skill Development Centre. His responsibilities include clerical work such as filing, photocopying, distributing circulars, answering phone calls, and greeting visitors. He also supervises the cleanliness of the reception area. Sharad is sociable, responsible, and an excellent communicator. He joined Tamana in 2004, received office skills training, completed Class 12 through NIOS, and was employed by Tamana in 2015.

Rakshit Rauthan

Rakshit works as an Assistant in the Sublimation Unit at Tamana Nai Disha since October 2023. He completed Class 12 through NIOS in April 2022. A skilled user of Corel Draw and Adobe software, he handles stock management and data entry for sublimation products. Rakshit also supports fellow students in learning graphic design.

Deepak Taneja

Deepak joined Tamana Special Education Centre in 1999 at the age of six and a half. During his formative years, he was trained in communication, personal, and social skills. He later pursued academics under the NIOS program and graduated to the Skill Development Centre at 18. Deepak completed Class 12 in 2020 and developed strong communication and technical skills. After completing a data entry and office skills course, he trained in baking, paper recycling, and operating vending machines. In 2021, he was employed as an Assistant in Tamana’s Paper Recycling Unit. Today, Deepak works independently and travels to his workplace on his own.

Apoorva Singh

Apoorva works as an Assistant to the Computer Instructor at Tamana Nai Disha. He helps train junior students in MS Paint and MS Word. After completing Class 12 through NIOS, Apoorva joined Tamana in July 2022 and received advanced computer training. He was inducted as an Assistant in the computer centre October 2023. Known for his strong verbal and math skills, he frequently serves as the emcee at Tamana’s official events.

Malhar Banerjee

Malhar is a Graphic Designer at Stylo Media Company, Kolkata, West Bengal. His work involves creating designs based on client requirements. A technology enthusiast, Malhar is also an active blogger on metro systems and Indian Railways locomotives. He studied at Tamana Nai Disha from 2014 to 2019, where he developed expertise in computer operations, internet use, graphic design, and photography.

Poornima Doomra

Poornima has been working as an Assistant Teacher at Tamana Nai Disha since October 2023. She joined Tamana in 2002 as an enthusiastic learner with interests in stitching, block printing, and computers. After completing Class 12 through NIOS in 2020, she began supporting her class by maintaining attendance, escorting students, assisting those with physical challenges, and helping with classwork. She also teaches Hindi reading comprehension, basic English, and arithmetic.

Nikhil Krishna

Nikhil joined Tamana Nai Disha in 1994 and continued till 2009. At Tamana, he was trained in office skills and encouraged to participate in sports through Special Olympics Bharat, where he won medals in hockey tournaments. He developed strong independence skills and in 2009 was placed as an Office Assistant at the Shriram Group of Companies. Nikhil continues to work there, supported and valued by his colleagues.

Ashish Bhatt

Ashish Bhatt, born on 7 August 1991, is a diligent and responsible young man diagnosed with mild intellectual disability. He has a strong command of Hindi, is social and interactive, and possesses excellent comprehension skills. Ashish travels independently and has been employed for the past eight years as a member of the housekeeping staff at DLF Mall, Vasant Kunj, Delhi. His dedication and consistent performance have earned him appreciation at work. He currently earns a monthly salary of Rs. 40,000 and continues to inspire with his commitment and professionalism.

These are not just stories of employment and self reliance— they are stories of transformation, hope, and empowerment. Tamana takes pride in walking alongside each individual as they discover their strengths, build confidence, and step into the world as capable, contributing members of society. Their journeys inspire us to continue building a more inclusive and compassionate world.
