Nutrition Intervention and Clinical Evaluation –Tamana’s N.I.C.E Program
Nutrition and health challenges for our students as noticed are far too intense. This includes current nutritional assessment and diet correction of children using ABCD method of analysis. Such children are affected by nutritional deficiencies due to poor absorption and also inadequacy of a balanced diet and physical inactivity. Our aim so far has been to help the students at Tamana achieve their ideal weight for an improved body balance and to prevent obesity related chronic diseases. Being light on their feet will enhance their will to engage more in physical activity.
The applicability and the efficacy of the nutrition Intervention program in our students is achieved through our regular Nutrition education workshops for parents and teachers, periodic assessments carried out by Ms. Aditi Mehrotra-a Nutrition and Diet Consultant.
