The outreach program is an outpatient programme provided by Tamana for children and young adults who are not enrolled in Tamana centres. This program provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to persons with intellectual disability, multiple disability and autism. Comprehensive services include :
– Disability assessment,
– Evaluation,
– Therapies ( occupational, physio, sensorimotor integration, speech and language therapy)
– Psychological counselling,
– Special education and
– Vocational training.
The therapies are planned for a child according to their unique needs, collaborating with specialists and creating a supportive environment. The multi speciality team of Tamana constantly improvises teaching aids and techniques to provide a variety of stimuli to the children. The outreach program runs at the three centres. This can be availed by Tamana students also after school hours in case parents want additional sessions to enhance child’s development in different domains. Timings 2 pm -4 pm on weekdays and 9 am -1.30 pm on second and fourth Saturday.
