Teacher Training Centre

TEACHERS TRAINING CELL was started in the year of 1994 with an aim to develop the best professionals who can work in the field of special education. Tamana has been recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) to run the following training courses in Rehabilitation.

1. D.Ed.Spl.Ed. (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) – 2 Years
2. D.Ed.Spl.Ed. (Hearing Impairment) – 2 Years
3. D.Ed.Spl.Ed. (Multiple Disabilities) – 2 Years
4. Diploma In Indian Sign Language Interpretation (D.I.S.L.I.) – 2 years
5. Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education (Intellectual Disability) – 1 Year
6. Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation (Intellectual Disability) – 1 Year

These Special Education programmes aim to develop professionals for special and inclusive education within a broad perspective of education. The programmes intends to educate and train the aspirants to become agents of change as teaching-professionals by imbibing the required knowledge, skills and positive attitude. It also enables them to seek out and develop the talents in the children with special needs.

The above programmes ensure skill set enhancement in the disability and inclusive education space in Delhi as well as on a Pan India basis. Our goal is to empower professionals in this niche based skill set.
